Google has launched Playground, a platform that allows users to create games using AI and easily share them with others through a browser. The operation involves issuing prompts directly, with slight options for 2D or 3D graphics and the number of players for the game. Once a game is created, users can send links for friends to play via the browser.

Players will use their Google Play Games accounts for multiplayer features, such as matchmaking or leaderboard rankings. Notably, Playground will not be limited to browser-based games, as Google is collaborating with Unity to create a similar AI game creation service called Unity Spark, which results in games that utilize the Unity engine.

Playground is now available under the Google Labs brand, indicating that it is still an experimental service, and it is currently limited to users in the United States.
