Travel organization TUI has been affected by a data leak and warns customers to be alert for phishing attacks. The exact impact and what data the attackers have obtained is still under investigation. The organization has sent a message to all customers asking them not to open suspicious messages or make any payments. They hope to provide more clarity as soon as possible.

Several individuals have reported being approached by attackers who appeared to possess various reservation details, including name, reserved hotel, travel date, and phone number. In these messages, the scammers ask recipients to click on a link, for example, for mandatory verification or check-in. TUI has stated, "TUI will never ask a customer to pay for their booked trip or flight via an account number. If this is the case, never click on a link and never share your confidential information."

The organization continues to monitor the situation and urges customers to remain vigilant against potential scams that may arise from the data breach. TUI reassures customers that they are taking the necessary steps to address the issue and further protect their information.
