Eset Launches Managed Detection and Response Service in Indonesia with 6-Minute Response Time
Eset has launched a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service in Indonesia through its exclusive distributor PT Prosperita Mitra Indonesia. The service is designed to take over threat analysis workloads and provide active 24/7 protection for corporations, with an average Mean Time to Respond (MTTR) of 6 minutes.
This launch is considered crucial given Indonesia's cyber threat landscape, which sees around 16 attacks per second according to data from AwanPintar.id, along with tightening regulations such as the Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP) and the draft Cybersecurity and Resilience Bill (RUU KKS).
Unlike conventional solutions that only issue alerts, Eset MDR automatically monitors, detects, and isolates cyber threats independently without burdening internal IT teams outside operational hours. Yudhi Kukuh, CTO of Prosperita Group, explained that the combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and a global network of security experts is key to the speed of threat mitigation.
The 6-minute response time contrasts sharply with findings from the 2025 Verizon study, which found that the average organization takes up to 24 days just to realize a breach has occurred.
The Eset MDR service combines AI automation with over 100 global threat hunters and holds a SOC 2 Type 2 certification. It also includes automated patch management to minimize exploitation of security vulnerabilities.
Eset offers two subscription tiers tailored to different organization sizes: Eset Protect MDR for small and medium enterprises needing endpoint, email, cloud application protection, and automated vulnerability monitoring and patching; and Eset Protect MDR Ultimate for large enterprises requiring advanced proactive protection, including customized threat hunting, remote digital forensics investigation, and an XDR ecosystem via Eset Inspect.
Yudhi emphasized that Eset is ready to support various organizations in Indonesia not only to comply with regulations but also to achieve cyber resilience without the need to build expensive internal Security Operations Centers.
