OpenAI has launched the Decisions API, a decision-making model that operates ten times faster than previous iterations. The Decisions API utilizes the smaller version of GPT-6 Luna, similar to models like Jev and Cloudflare Clef. This API processes inputs in the form of text, images, or both, making decisions based on specified questions or conditions.

For instance, it can determine which team in a company should handle a customer's message or track moving objects with a camera. One significant advantage of the Decisions API is its speed, which is ten times faster compared to traditional text output results.

The pricing model for the Decisions API charges only for the input tokens, set at 0.10 dollars per one million tokens, which aligns with the input costs of GPT-6 Luna.
