โอเพนเอไอได้เปิดตัวเอเจนต์เอพีไอในรูปแบบเบต้าสาธารณะเมื่อวันที่ 10 กันยายน 2569 เพื่อเปิดให้พัฒนาการเข้าถึงโครงสร้างพื้นฐานของระบบโค้ดเซกซ์

ระบบใหม่นี้ช่วยให้ผู้พัฒนาสร้างเอเจนต์ที่ทำงานเป็นเวลานานได้โดยไม่ต้องจัดการบริบทหรือการเรียกใช้เครื่องมือด้วยตนเอง โดยระบบจะบีบอัดข้อมูลอัตโนมัติเมื่อใกล้ถึงขีดจำกัด

ผู้พัฒนาสามารถเลือกสภาพแวดล้อมการประมวลผลได้ทั้งจากโอเพนเอไอหรือพันธมิตรอย่างคลาวด์ฟเลียร์และโมดัล โดยไม่ต้องเสียค่าใช้เอพีไอเพิ่มเติม
