# Skyticket Travel Booking Platform Hacked, 6140 Users' Credit Card Information Leaked

On October 17, 2026, the travel platform Skyticket reported that it suffered a cyber attack, resulting in the leakage of credit card information for 6140 users. The affected users had registered and used their credit cards to pay for the premium membership service "Skyticket Premium" from February 2017 to June 2018.

Skyticket disclosed that the leaked information includes credit card numbers, cardholder names, and expiration dates. Some customers' details were limited to the card number, and no credit card security codes were involved.

Initially, Skyticket stored credit card information on its own servers, but by June 2018, the company transitioned to managing credit card data through a payment service provider. However, during the migration, the logs documenting changes in payment for the "Skyticket Premium" membership fees were not deleted and still contained user credit card information.

As of now, Skyticket has not identified any misuse of the leaked credit card information that could lead to further losses. The company has contacted credit card companies through the payment service provider to monitor any suspicious transactions. It urges affected customers to review their credit card statements since October for suspicious activity and recommends changing their credit card details to prevent further fraud.
