# QCon Global Software Development Conference to Focus on AI Native Architecture

The QCon Global Software Development Conference will take place from October 22 to October 24, 2026, in Shanghai, focusing on engineering practices in the AI Native era. This event will explore various advanced technology directions including AI Native architecture, Agent Runtime, AI Infra, Data Systems, Agent security and observability, Loop Engineering, and more. It aims to gather members of the global technology community and industry practitioners to share insights and practical experiences regarding the evolution of AI from capability to system and from experimentation to production.

Liu Zhongbing, head of the architecture governance team and AI architecture evolution at Kuaishou, has confirmed his participation in a specialized session titled “Where Should AI Era Architecture Go?” He will discuss the challenges that arise as AI applications grow rapidly, leading to siloed agents and unmanageable token costs. Liu will address the need for a shift from traditional "build first, govern later" strategies to an AI Native architecture that is essential for organizations.

The conference will also cover the lack of industry consensus on architectural issues brought by AI, the absence of unified standards for CLI/Skill/Agent, and the challenges in establishing safety authentication and data isolation. Liu’s presentation will outline a five-step closed loop involving collaboration among architects from various business domains to establish a comprehensive plan for the evolution of Kuaishou’s AI Native architecture. This includes ensuring safety, integrating agent capabilities, establishing CLI standards, and promoting AI governance, ultimately aiming for efficient and sustainable AI usage.

Additional topics at the conference will include Loop Engineering, innovative practices across various industries, Agent autonomy, and the relationship between AI infrastructure and scalability. Over 100 senior experts from diverse sectors will present their insights and frontline experiences at the event, contributing to a richer understanding of AI architecture and its implications for the industry.
