# Honor announces launch of MagicOS 11

Honor officially announced the launch of MagicOS 11 during the 2026 Global Developers Conference, featuring core benefits and comprehensive updates aimed at enhancing the user experience across all eligible devices. The new system is based on Glazed Architecture, which rebuilds Android 17 from the ground up to provide a transparent interface and the "Liquid Glass" effect for the first time on Android interfaces. This technology allows users complete control over transparency levels and smooth navigation between elements, while maintaining nearly low energy consumption.

The new architecture also includes the Hummingbird framework, which brings liquid motion effects using advanced physical models to support realistic movements and interactions in the system, improving interface smoothness by 20% compared to previous versions. Practically, MagicOS 11 offers multi-protocol fast charging support, making wireless charging more efficient. Honor introduced a new energy-saving feature in MagicOS 11 and added the second generation of Storage Space 2.0, providing harmless automatic file compression to clean up excess files, allowing for up to 60 gigabytes of phone space savings.

One of the standout new features is the Hongyan AI Cloud Map, which enables the phone to automatically select the best network to enhance connectivity, especially in areas with weak coverage. It is now also possible to connect two Bluetooth speakers to one device simultaneously. The AI assistant YOYO received updates to improve user interaction, as it can now remember instructions and execute commands accurately on its own, recognizing receipt codes, alerts, and movements without the need for manual searching. The system also supports integration with smart home devices, file transfers between multiple operating systems, AI-supported smart calls, and organizing lists and schedules, making the user experience smarter and simpler. Honor announced that MagicOS 11 will be available for testing immediately after the conference, supporting many of the company's models, promising a smoother and smarter experience for users.
