# AIS 2026 Conference to Address AI-Driven Cyber Threats and Financial Sector Hacking

The 2026 Artificial Intelligence Security Conference, known as AIS 2026, is scheduled to take place on November 3 at the International Conference Hall of the Korea Science and Technology Center in Seoul. The event will bring together approximately 600 attendees, including information security and privacy officers from public institutions, financial organizations, general enterprises, and educational and medical facilities. The primary objective of the gathering is to share insights on the evolving landscape of cyber threats in the age of artificial intelligence and to discuss practical strategies for defense.

The conference is organized by the information security media outlet Dailysecu. The central theme of the event is the sharing of information on AI-based information protection technologies and emerging cyber threats. The agenda focuses on critical challenges faced by corporate and institutional security professionals, including the evolution of AI-assisted cyber attacks, threat intelligence, AI-driven security operations, enterprise browser security, software supply chain security involving AI coding agents, infrastructure vulnerability management, and ransomware response.

A significant portion of the conference will be dedicated to analyzing recent hacking incidents targeting the domestic financial sector. Reports indicate that AI-based attack tools were utilized in these breaches, prompting a reevaluation of the effectiveness of existing security frameworks. The development of generative AI and AI agent technologies has enabled attackers to automate vulnerability scanning, target analysis, and parts of the attack process. This shift necessitates a multi-faceted defense strategy, including continuous management of attack surfaces, proactive detection using threat intelligence, automation of security operations, and protection of software development environments and core infrastructure.

The program features presentations from various industry experts and organizations. Kim Do-won from the Korea Internet & Security Agency will discuss the latest AI-based security threats and response strategies. Yun Gwang-taek from Recorded Future will address the acceleration of AI attacks and the role of threat intelligence in strengthening security operations. Kim Su-young from Fortinet will explore the dual perspective of protecting AI systems and using AI to defend against intelligent threats.

In the afternoon sessions, Enki Whitehat will analyze recent domestic hacking incidents to identify attack patterns and security implications. An Byung-wook from GitLab will examine the security risks associated with AI coding agents in software development. Lee Yo-han from Broadcom Korea will discuss how vulnerabilities in Spring frameworks, open-source software, and IT infrastructure become targets for AI-driven attacks. Kim Seung-ju from Korea University will diagnose new security threats in the era of generative AI. Everyzone WhiteDefender will present on AI-based anti-ransomware technologies, and Choi Hyun-pyo from Stealthmall will share methods for profiling hacking suspects in the financial sector using AI analysis.

Eleven major domestic and international security and IT companies are participating in the event, including GoodMorningIT, Recorded Future, Fortinet, GitLab, Exosphere Labs, F1 Security, Etivus, Broadcom, Everyzone, MarkAny, and Insung Digital. The venue will also host exhibition booths showcasing technologies in AI security, threat intelligence, security automation, endpoint and infrastructure protection, and software supply chain security. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the latest security trends and implementation strategies with company representatives. The conference runs from 9:00 AM to 5:10 PM, followed by a prize drawing. Participation is free for eligible security and privacy professionals, who can also earn seven hours of security education credit.
